At Wilderlicht, we’re a dedicated team of creatives with a passion for storytelling. Founded by Casper Rila, we’re photographers at our core, with expertise in video production, bringing together the best of both to create high-quality, impactful work.
We’re a small, driven team that takes pride in every project we take on. Whether working in-house or collaborating with our trusted freelancers, we approach each challenge with professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to bringing our clients' visions to life.

Casper Rila
Founder - photographer - creative director
Casper is a Rotterdam-based photographer known for his rich use of light and distinctive visual style. After graduating cum laude from the Willem de Kooning Academy in fine arts and completing his master’s in photography at Sint Joost, he built a strong career in commercial and editorial photography. His work spans from magazines like Esquire, FD Persoonlijk, and Wired to major campaigns for brands such as Philips, Trek Bikes, and Opel. Collaborating with a close-knit network of creatives, Casper brings precision, personality, and a refined visual language to every project, always balancing artistic depth with a playful edge.
Sanne Hofker
Producer - junior art director - photography & video post-production - graphic designer
Sanne is a Rotterdam-based photographer, producer, and art director. She graduated cum laude from AKI ArtEZ Academy of the Arts in photography and media design and works across both commercial and artistic projects. At Wilderlicht, she primarily focuses on production, but is busy on all fronts from styling and set design to editing and retouching photography and building this website. She is also usually on set, assisting with the photography and lights.

Mathijs Labadie
Photographer - photography post-production - gaffer
Mathijs Labadie loves the photographic process, which keeps constantly surprising him. Focusing on objects, nature and landscapes, he explores the border between the artificiality of studio photography and the natural appearance of the world outside. Mathijs's clients range from artists to commercial brands.
